What is an affiliate program? Novice Novice tutorials require no prior knowledge of any specific web programming language.
An affiliate program is "a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts."
In our case the system has three core players: the merchant (also known as retailer or brand, that's ThemeFuse), the publisher (also known as the affiliate, that is you), and the customer (the users that will purchase the our themes through your affiliate links).
How this works is: the publisher promotes the merchant's products by putting affiliate links or banners on their website. When the customer clicks those links and purchase one of the products from the the merchant, the publisher gets a percentage from the sale (from 30% up to 70% based on the sales made in the past 30 days). Learn how the affiliate cut is calculated.
